It turns out there's another place constantly advertising here that I've never seen. This place is called Golden Corral. It appears to be some sort of seafood buffet costing 'around 10 dollars', as they invariably put it.
The closest one, however, is nearly 100 miles away, and I've never seen it, nor known anybody who has eaten there.
Then again, this place could be just like Sizzler and fully exist without my knowledge (or consent, for that matter).
lol yea, we used to get sonic commercials out here but the nearest one was so far away. and then we got one and i didnt really like it lol
ReplyDeleteim the only one who reads "pizza" and gets automatically hungry? hahah
ReplyDeleteI hate trying new places that aren't chains. It's what the attire, prices, and menu is. i want to know beforehand.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when I google for a place (restaurant, store etc) and then when I look further into it, the place doesn't actually exist anymore! :(
ReplyDeleteTV lies about a lot of things though. Not just places that don't exist.
"costing 'around 10 dollars'"
ReplyDeleteI lol'd so hard because I know exactly what you mean. We have those commercials here and I'm not positive that they don't exist around here, but I know for a fact that I have never seen one or heard anyone else talking about one.
google and a road trip on a board day. take cam and review it for us ;)
ReplyDeleteYou know what bugs me? I'm Canadian and I see the ads for the US chains on the American channels (A&E, TLC ect) and I get furious. Of course I write em down for future reference if I ever decide to go on a road trip down there. heh.
ReplyDeleteHave you thought they want to expand in your area!
ReplyDeleteMaybe, just maybe, they're on drugs :)
ReplyDeletelmao, this has happened by me a few times. here in nyc
ReplyDeleteWow ... that's pretty ... meaningless.
ReplyDeleteIve never seen a Golden Corral either!
ReplyDeleteGolden Corral IS THE BEST BUFFET EVER. And its not just seafood, they have on-demand steaks and bacon wrapped steaks and loads of delicious. :33 <
ReplyDeleteHahaha This so funny.
ReplyDeletethanks dude
ReplyDeleteWhy people spend money advertising for a place that doesnt exist is beyond me...
ReplyDeleteIt's work of the illuminati. They are somehow taking over the whole fast food market.
ReplyDeleteLol, that's ridiculous. I used to live in a southern Arizona city and had the same problem. Only, I never saw places like In 'N Out and Hardy's. Luckily, I moved around a bit when I was younger and had the chance to go to Cici's Pizza, Golden Corral, and Sonic. Golden Corral isn't actually just seafood, they have everything there...pretty low quality thuogh. Plus, they add MSG to the food, so you always leave feeling really overstuffed. I used to love it when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteLol I have the same thing in the Tri-state area with Red Robin it's not in New York but they have so many commercials for it.
