Divorce

So my parents just got divorced. I can't say I didn't know it was coming, but it's certainly a bit weird. To be honest, I don't really know what to think about it at this point, as my dad's only been gone a couple days.

What about you, loyal readers? Are your parents divorced, and did it bother you at all? This may sound callous, but it doesn't bother me one bit.

    I'm glad you're not letting it get to you. My parents are still married, but a lot of my friend's parents are divorced; and they all dealt with it in different ways. Some of them didn't see how their lives would ever return to normal without two parents living with them, whereas others were almost content, in a way, knowing that their parents had done what was best for them. Especially if they just weren't getting along, sometimes these things just make sense as the right thing to do.

    Sorry for you bro. My parents have had rough times and even contimplating separation but gladly they never did for some reason.

    My parents get divorced when i was 5 or 6 years old, and i can only give you one advice, if your dad is who moves out of the house, don't forget about him, try to visit him each day because he will feel lonely as fuck and he needs you

    My parents are divorced, but it happened when I was pretty young so I haven't known any different. Basically all it has meant to me up until now is "TWO CHRISTMASES!!" Got you followed had to clear up some other blogs. Keep in touch!

    My parents got divorced when i was like 7, so i don't remember much of it. But i suggest that you look at it from the bright side and try to focus on the pros instead of al the cons

    Mine did when I was a little kid. I never really knew the difference so It wasn't awkward but I always wondered what it be like it they stayed together.

    My parents have been married for over 30 years and nothing seems like it's gonna change.

    Yeah, my parents are still together but it seems like arguments get more frequent and more intense. I would understand if they separated, but I still think it'd be hard to take. Glad you're doing well though

    Same thing happened to me about 4 years ago. Now my dad lives with his parents, and reuses to get a job. My mom is "dating" a one-man-death-metal band who is about 5 years younger than me.

    My parents got divorced when I was thirteen. I didn't admit it at the time, but it shattered my world and myself as well. But you work through it.
