No Nuclear Fallout Here!

A week ago I mentioned that people here in California were overreacting to the tsunami.

Now, however, there is allegedly a cloud of radioactive particles floating over our beautiful coastline. Do people here care? Nope! As you can see from this photo taken at 15:05 local time, the main beach in Laguna Beach, CA, is quite crowded.

Go figure...

Tsunami? Let's go watch! Radiation? Let's not give a shit! Funny world we live in.

  1. THE GOGGLES! THEY DO NOTHING!

Sorry bro. Your life's mission to become Radioactive Man has failed again.

So what's the temp down there? It's 41 degrees in Idaho and I'm doing cartwheels. I'd kill for a California spring right now...

  2. Indeed. Chernobyl affected the entire northern hemisphere, and with the recent admission of the situation being more serious than previously explained, I believe this nuclear accident won't be so light for too long.

  6. I don't know if it ever came here. You can't really tell, but it was supposed to have reached here last night, Chris.

  7. probably nobody was even aware.. and even if they read it in the paper it's not like they can see the particles or even understand what will happen to them if they come into contact with them, so basically they wouldn't believe or care. people are stupid.

anyway, followed. get back at me

  10. Earlier I was outside in the rain, enjoying the radioactive downpour, hoping to become a wonderful mutant, like in the X-Men.

  11. I'm so confuzeled. For every time I hear that cloud is real, I hear someone else report that it's not.....I'm leaning towards not though, because there can be no cloud yet as it hasn't blown up yet.

  13. San Diego here and no sign of radiation. Although I like the idea that Cindy has...mutant powers. But with my luck I'd just get a malignant tumor in my brain.

  17. well, i'm going to say this:

When the bird flu first appeared they said that there were going to be about 10,000 deads in Portugal. How many died you ask? Zero. 0.

So i just hope it's everyone just overreacting.

  19. I wouldn't be overly concerned, everyone in Japan isn't dead from radioactive particles.
